General fiction

"Signs" is based on the writing prompt "There were signs everywhere." In the situation it was used for the prompt needed to be, either in whole or part, the first sentence. It was a good bit of fun for me to write it.

This is a simple conversation in an interrogation room in a small south-eastern Kentucky Sherriff department, or so the deputy thought.
